Slashdot and All Things Digital are reporting that Apple is in talks to buy the 3D sensor company PrimeSense. This company is best know for supplying the motion capture technology behind Microsoft's Kinetic gaming console. This technology allows the computer to register and respond to a users movements. For instance if a user jumps or lunges the computer can interpret that movement as an input without the user ever having touched the machine or an input device. It's actually a pretty cool process. The thing that I wonder is what might Apple put this technology toward....?
