For the last week or so, I've been driving around France visiting sights in the Dordogne and Provence regions. So far, every place where we have stayed has had wonderfully speedy internet service. This got me to wondering which places have the best internet service in the world. As for speed, the top countries with the highest averages are:

1. Hong Kong 54.1 Mbs
2. South Korea 48.8 Mbs
3. Japan 42.2 Mbs
4. Latvia 37.5 Mbs
5. Romania 37.4 Mbs
6. Belgium 32.7 Mbs
7. Switzerland 32.4 Mbs
8. Bulgeria 32.1 Mbs
9. Israel 30.9 Mbs
10. Singapore - 30.7 Mbs
The U.S. Ranks 14th, but the article doesn't give the average U.S. speed.
