With great anticipation, most Apple product lovers tuned in last week to the WWDC (Apples World Wide Developer Conference) to get a glimpse of upcoming developments from Apple. Among those was the long awaited update to the operating system found on iPads and iPhones...the iOS. iOS 7 has been received with mixed emotions, even by diehard Apple lovers and more related to aesthetics than anything. So you like shadow and 3D effects on icons? How about a faux leather border on your Calendar? Better yet, how about some fake felt on your Gamecenter to give it that realistic appearance of...um...felt? C'mon critics!...the new iOS is beautiful to say the least. 2D in appearance but XD in function and experience. Stop chirping about what was and embrace what is. Infinite beauty in simplicity. As reviews continue to pour in from users running the beta version of iOS, one thing is perfectly clear...never ever judge a book by its cover.
