Adobe Photoshop support 3D printing...

For those of you who read this blog often, you know that I am excited about the whole 3D printing revolution that was started by the the good folks at MakerBot. They are not the first company to offer a 3D printer to the public, but they are the first to offer an affordable 3D printer to the public. They have recently announced their 5th generation of 3D printers available to purchase.
Adobe has also announced new built in support the MakerBot brand of printers in Photoshop. Adobe says that they are not expecting people to produce 3D meshes using Photoshop, but will instead use Photoshop to repair and tweak 3D meshed as a "finishing" process prior to printing the final design.
This gives the creative professional a direct path to use 3D printing without having to learn the ins and outs of CAD/CAM software.
You can read more about it here, and here.
