Here is a quick tip about using the Services Menu to send an file in Apple Mail. Simply highlight your file in the Finder. Then from the services menu, select Mail / Send File. Your mail program will launch and all you need to do is give the message a subject and an addressee.
We will have more tips about the services menu later, but for now you may want to look around in this menu and see what programs have added functionality here. You may find some hidden treasures. For example, highlight some text in Safari and use the services / mail / send selection option.
