Lytro Camera lets users re-adjust focus after image is made.

For those of you that have never hear of Lytro, this new camera technology allows photographers to refocus their image after the image has been taken. Imagine being able to correct a blurry image or refocus an image to better draw attention to a different area of interest. This is Buck Rodgers stuff!
To experience what I'm talking about check out their great interactive gallery.
The technology behind this new way of capturing images is the Light Field Sensor and Engine. This is a new way of capturing light. I doesn't just capture light color, value and intensity, but also uses a process similar to ray tracing in computer graphics to allow the light rays to be calculated and thus refocused after the initial images has been taken.
The future truly is today.
