Since the introduction of the original iPad, people have been asking for a usb port so they could connect a flash drive for additional storage. With the near ubiquitious internet access and services like Dropbox, Box.net, Evernote, and so many more, I am not sure if anyone is still clamoring for something like this.
But if you are, enter the iFlashDrive for iOS by the folks are Hypershop. At $99.95 for 8GB, $149.95 for 16GB, and $199.95 for 32GB drives, it is a bit pricey, but it has a 30pin connector on one end and a standard usb connector on the other to allow you to move files from iOS to computer easily.
Or so they claim. I have not tried it, but wanted to pass it on in case you have been holding your breath waiting for a usb option for the iPad.
If you try one, or know someone who has, please let us know.
